The first thing any Angeleno loves about Los Angeles is the weather, followed by the outdoor lifestyle and the value of having private outdoor space. To address the challenges of subdividing lots under California’s SB 1123 legislation, which often results in monotonous infill projects, we reimagined the conventional typology. We subdivided the lot into five identical 23.2-foot-wide parcels and introduced an additional 5-foot setback for privacy and convenient access.
